Rafting Tour
Feel the rush of the Köprülü Canyon on this full-day white-water adventure: “Rafting From Antalya Belek Side.” Designed for fun-loving beginners and adrenaline seekers alike, this tour combines dramatic scenery, exciting rapids, and refreshing swimming breaks in crystal-clear mountain water.
Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Antalya, Belek, or Side, followed by a scenic drive through pine forests and traditional villages toward the Köprülü Canyon National Park. On arrival at the rafting base, you’ll meet your professional, English-speaking guides and receive a full safety briefing along with your helmet, life jacket, and paddle. No previous rafting experience is needed—your guide will teach you everything step by step.
After gearing up, you’ll board your raft and push off into the cool, fast-flowing waters of the Köprüçay River. Over the next few hours, you’ll paddle through thrilling rapids, glide past steep canyon walls, and drift along calmer sections where you can relax, swim, or simply admire the unspoiled landscape. Between the bursts of adrenaline, there are plenty of chances to jump into the water, splash with your friends, and take unforgettable photos.
Along the route, you’ll pass under historic stone bridges and through lush valleys, with the Taurus Mountains rising in the background. The tour typically includes several short stops for swimming, cliff-jumping spots (optional), and photo breaks so you can catch your breath and soak in the scenery.
At the end of the rafting course, a delicious lunch awaits you at a riverside restaurant, where you can refuel and share stories from the day. After lunch, you’ll have some free time to relax by the river, watch other rafting groups pass by, or purchase photos and videos of your experience.
Finally, you’ll board the bus for a comfortable return transfer back to your hotel in Antalya, Belek, or Side, arriving in the late afternoon with your energy high and your camera full. “Rafting From Antalya Belek Side” is perfect for families, groups of friends, and solo travelers looking to add an unforgettable outdoor adventure to their Mediterranean holiday.
Tour Route
Pick-up and drop-off are usually included from hotels in Antalya, Belek, and Side, with early morning departure times and a full-day schedule: Most rafting tours conveniently include hotel pick-up and drop-off from the major resort areas of Antalya, Belek, and Side, so you won’t need to arrange your own transport to the river. Departures are typically in the early morning to make full use of the day, with several hours on the river plus breaks, photo stops, lunch, and the return drive, creating a full-day experience.
Participants typically raft on Class II–III rapids suitable for beginners, but basic swimming ability and average physical fitness are recommended: The river sections used for these tours generally feature Class II–III rapids, which offer fun waves and splashes without requiring previous rafting experience, making them ideal for first-timers and families. However, because you may occasionally fall into the water or need to paddle actively, being able to swim and having a normal level of physical fitness is strongly advised for your safety and comfort.
All necessary rafting equipment such as helmets, life jackets, and paddles is generally provided, while participants should bring swimwear, water shoes, towel, and a change of clothes: Tour operators usually supply all technical gear required for the activity, including a raft, paddles, helmets, and buoyancy aids or life jackets that meet safety standards. You are expected to bring personal items like swimwear, secure water shoes or sandals, a towel, sunscreen, and dry clothes to change into after the trip, as you will definitely get wet during the rafting.
Safety briefings are given by professional guides before entering the river, and wearing safety gear and following instructions at all times is mandatory: Before you get into the raft, trained and licensed guides explain how to sit, paddle, hold the paddle correctly, and what to do if you fall in, ensuring everyone understands the basic safety rules. Wearing your helmet and life jacket properly fastened and listening carefully to your guide’s instructions throughout the trip is compulsory and essential for reducing risks on the river.
Lunch is often included in the tour price, but drinks, photos, and optional extras like zipline or canyoning may cost extra: Many full-day rafting tours include a set or buffet-style lunch at a riverside restaurant or camp, so you can refuel midway through the adventure without additional cost for the meal itself. However, soft drinks, bottled water, alcoholic beverages, professional photos or videos, and optional add-on activities such as ziplining or canyoning are usually charged separately and should be budgeted for in advance.
Not recommended for pregnant women, people with serious heart, back, or neck problems, or very young children; age and health restrictions may apply: Because rafting involves bumpy movement, potential jolts, and the risk of falling into cold water, it is generally unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone with serious cardiac, spinal, or neck conditions. Operators often set minimum age or height limits and may require participants to confirm they have no major health issues, ensuring that everyone on the tour can safely handle the physical demands of the activity.
